The Montgomery Inn at Ingleside dates back to 1877, and was originally the home of Montgomery’s grandfather, Senator Donald Montgomery. It was the place where Montgomery also spent most of her childhood, and named the homestead “Ingleside."
The home serves as the setting for the marital house of Anne and Gilbert in the series of Ingleside books: Anne's House of Dreams (1917), Anne of Ingleside (1939), Rainbow Valley (1919), and Rilla of Ingleside (1921).
We offer six beautifully decorated rooms, each with unique charm and character, including Lucy Maud Montgomery's bedroom.

To start your day, we serve delicious coffee and an assortment of teas. Guests can also enjoy a variety of baked goods and fruit.
